We believe in data minimization. The app is designed to function with minimal personal data collection:

• Photos for Analysis: When you use the camera to scan a product or ingredient list, the image is sent to our AI service (Google Gemini) for real-time analysis. We do not store these images on our servers.
• Subscription Data: We use RevenueCat to manage Pro subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous device identifiers to manage your subscription status across devices.
• Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous data about which features are used to improve the app's performance.

2. How We Use AI

Halal AI Scanner uses advanced AI models (Google Gemini API) to process images of products and ingredients. These images are processed ephemerally and are not used to train global AI models or stored permanently by us.

3. Data Storage

Your scan history is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, this history is removed unless you have backed it up via your device's native cloud backup service (e.g., iCloud).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API: For ingredient analysis and OCR.
• RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Apple App Store: For app distribution and payment processing.

5. Children's Privacy
